Preston will host Carlisles home game on Saturday and Blackburn the Plymouth game on 2nd January, nothing has been said about our game.

I think they'll just postpone our game. Think the Police would be happier with that too, less Pools will travel for a rearranged midweek fixture.

I think it will be policing that's the issue. They know fine well if the game is at Newcastle large numbers would go from both sides comapared to say playing at morcambe or a ground similar.

I was hoping we might have found some form by the time the rearranged fixture comes around.

I've heard Ronnie wants to bring the game forward as their pitch as it is suits his style of play.
