talking tripe to try and ease the fans it sounds more like

take a lot to get us challenging at the top, which is alarming cos the division isn't particularly great.

We do need to start signing players permanently as loans are merely stop gaps as we usually lose them after initial month if they are that good anyways.

Yeah i hate it when we have good players for 30 days.

Id rather have them for 0.

You are becoming a predictable and amusing contributor to this forum.

It's true they are just words but at least the noises are positive, the previous chairman spent this time of year in full bullshit mode contriving alsorts of reasons why couldn't possibly spend a penny in January.

is this not a forum, for opinions?

you are boring pj, anyone who is of a different opinion to you is jumped on.

if you are happy with 30 day loans constantly, then good to know some fans are appeased. It's annoying as a lot of the time, you lose them which puts us back to square 1.

until we resolve the fact we have a horrendous central midfield, we will always struggle as too easily cut open

But at this time of year you either sign loan players or stick with the players you have. I'd suggest we wouldn't have twenty points had we done the latter.

Saying he is 'talking tripe' might be an opinion but it's hardly a constructive one is it? By the end of January we'll know of he was or not. Hopefully we can get a win tonight and get a few days grace from this tiresome negativity.

you can look at it both ways....loanees you would like to think would improve the squad and the vast majority have. but then taking just 2 initial 30 day loans from last 2 seasons and massive difference: -

Luke Williams.....went from mid table to genuinely looking like play off contenders simply because he was that good. Lost him after loan expired and we all know what then happened
Tshibola....initial 30 day loan which improved us massively (along with mirfin, bird, bingham etc) and luckily for us he chose to stay here instead of going elsewhere for whatever reason and most likely would be in conference right now if he hadn't.

Didn't realise opinions had to be constructive ones, but it's an indication because something is said, as hartlepool fans, surely we don't just instantly have an uplift because it's happened time and time again.

It would be nice to see some of the better loan players pursued for permanent deals or buying other players. But the high number of loan players in recent season isn't a coincidence that our form massively fluctuates throughout the season. Even when losing bingham, and then bird we had little slumps until replacements come in. This boils down to permanent recruitment not being good enough, all the players now have either been signed or given new contracts by the management team so have to be judged on that.

I worry in any away game when we have such a poor central midfield and persist with 442. It's been pointed out that it isn't our job to entertain people, especially away from home, so get 3 midfielders in the middle and stop ourselves being completely overran.

Where's he been the past few months?! I'm all for him comunicating to the fans as long as he follows up on what he's said.

I, like most others, said I'd give the new owners the benefit of the doubt after a summer bringing in a new squad. Time has proved that the squad's slightly improved, based on the league table that is.
Now he's made this statement he's put his neck on the line as far as trusting him goes and if they fail to deliver then I'm sure many others will start seeing the similarities with previous owners.

I won't get my hopes up, especially when he mentions unrealistic figures in the statement as an example. I will however retain judgement until the end of January.

Believe it when it happens.
Russ Green said in pre-season we were going to bring players in to get us promoted so you cant blame some fans for not getting carried away by TALK.
Perfect timing like to appease the fans with 4 hard league games coming up and a TRUST meeting tomorrow nite.

Lets be honest we have had quality loans that would grace any league its just a shame that for the last 6 seasons we have been unlucky and finished near the bottom everytime. Why have a good player for just thirty days. Lets go out in January and get good players for two or three years. Not easy I know but we are due a half decent team and a good run of results after 6 years of struggles. Talk is cheap but at least he is talking and being positive. He has told people their is money there in January so I fully expect us to be competing better sometime soon.

the money has been there according to owners/manager/whoever in charge if it's going to improve the squad is the line always used.

Well if we are scouting players worse than those we have, our scouts are absolutely shit too cos it must be difficult.....we have some good young players with potential but we even seem to 'coach' this out of them.....it's been pointed out numerous times, who was last player we had to came in and actually improve massively.....baldwin? james i guess actually.

The scouting system, coaching system, manager their is obviously something not right. Some teams on poor budgets doing really well maybe we need to start looking at how the accringtons are doing it and go from their.

The new signings will probably come in the back end of January after we qualified for the 5th round of the FA Cup.

What shit has he constantly talked? He has been a lot more open that previous owners. Not as open as some would have hoped I am sure, but regardless, he has been a lot more open.

He has certainly gave Moore more backing that we got from previous owners, yet Moore gets off without a bad word said about him.

Moore isn't getting away with criticism here, it's been said this level of loans is due to how bad our squad is, which is now either signing or contract renewal done by Moore.

I'm happy to be proved wrong but I am sceptical to say the least as heard it all before

This is borderline obsession.

Insults!? I never insult anyone on here (well no Pools fans  ) disagree yes, evidently quite a lot but that isn't an insult. If it's insults you're after take a read of what you post yourself. As for 'playing the victim' do you honestly think I give a single fuck about what someone who I don't know from Adam posts on the Internet? Do you not think I possibly have more important things in my life?

I promise this is the last time I reply to your pathetic baiting, it might do you some good, I doubt it like but I doubt anyone else wants to read this shite.

Ripper is a tosser, in fact I havent met anyone on here who I thought wasnt me included, apart from Chip he is a sex god. I had the unfortunate experience of going to Pools with Pubey through the 90's and going to college with Yloop they are both wankers but with good dress sense.

Chunky you need to realise on here that everyone hates everyone and that is the real Clique ;)
