Looks like Ron has failed again. What chairman would want his players going to a club dropping like a rock, so much for Ron's contacts banghead

Aye, that's why we didn't get Tishibola last season. Bottom of the league 6 points adrift and dreadful on and off the pitch. Think that's why Tishibola didn't come in the end.

I think Moore has probably been the best manager we have had in a long time I regard to loan deals.

Look we were never going to bring anyone in on loan this week.

We have a cup tie next saturday for which any loanie with any talent would be not allowed to play in, so if we have someone for a 30 day loan, they would end up missing effectively 14 days of that period. Half the loan period of us paying for someone not to play for us.

If we do get someone it'll be on the friday or the saturday before the Orient game

Is Magnay back for the Orient game? I can see the headlines now..

'Magnay is like the new signing we have been searching 3 weeks for' says King Ronnie Moore.

Something's not right, I can only think it's more to do with lack of budget than Ronnie's contacts.

Another cheap inexperienced attempt at a quick fix. Like using a plaster to fix a compound fracture !

When all else fails head of to the boro to get a cheapo in. If he plays well boro will want him back in four games to sign for some massive team in league one. Well Scunthorpe or someone along them lines.

Well we have hardly signed a Jan ove pederson gordon Watson Marco gabbiadini type player for a long time. I thought with ior going this boro cheap option would of disappeared. If you didn't know better you would still think they are running the club.

Jesus wept.

I couldn't give a monkey's if we signed every player we have from Boro, providing they're good enough.

The lad hasn't kicked a fucking ball for us and you moan.

Poor.

How many of these boro loans have we gone on to sign? Infact how many games have we actually won over the last few years with boro loans. This lad might be brilliant and hopefully he is, thing is he wont be signing for us if he is any good so its another short sighted move by the club. In a months time we will be looking for someone else.

Some of the comments are fucking pathetic he's 21 and been around Boros first team, Coventry also took him on loan. He's played for England U19's as well so he has good pedigree. The signings from Boro we've got who are that age have all been good footballers.

pj can you actually tell me what's positive about the club at the moment? 6 years of struggle cant win at home. Dont seem capable of beating many teams above the bottom 4. New owners who seem to have no money. A team that looks that it will have to be pulled apart again. Is it any surprise people aren't too chuffed with what's going on. Please tell us what's positive?

you've just described Hartlepool United in a nutshell for 90 odd year out of the 107 year we've been around.

I think you have people aren't moaning about the lad himself. Its the fact that it will once again be a no win loan for us as we all know if he is any good he disapears back to boro to be loaned out to league one or someone with money. If he isn't any good we probobly disapear out of the cup and down the league a bit more. Now if he was good and there was a chance we could sign him great but boro have a history of not giving us this opportunity.

I'll let you carry on with your incredibly high opinion of yourself and crack on with whatever this agenda is you have but I'm not sure how you can say anyone is 'type' of signing when you've never him seen him play. I personally think that is ridiculous. The players chip mentioned were that 'type' of signing, a lad called Micky Barron was that type of signing.

Everyone feel free to carry on though

We need old head, experience, cloggers if you will. Not bairns to be put in the firing line in what is rapidly turning into another relegation battle.

Remember Gerard Nash anyone ???

Let me know what I'm meant to take from..

He's been around Boro's 1st team
And he's been on loan at Coventry

Like I say I hope he's successful but don't post this as a reason for positivity

Also sometimes you have to make this type of singing at this level. Worley is injured, Magnay is still banned, Magnus is not allowed to play.

Do you think our squad can cope with three centre back options unavailable?

At every point of every footballers career they have been inexperienced at some point.

I hope not I'm at work.

Gerrard Nash is a poor example, he'd played for Ipswich first team before two cruciate injuries forced him to retire. It was evident from his one appearance for us he was never going to be able to play pro football again.

I've just explained why he is a poor example.

So this lad who you know nothing about, and have never seen play will be like a startled deer because a lad coming back from two shocking injuries which forced his eventual retirement ten years ago was.

Fair point.

We had a lad on loan called Andrew Boyce recently he's the type of player you reckon we need? He played plenty of games. He was fucking brutal like but he's played plenty of games.

I'm not sure what I've posted is positive. I just prefer to actually see players play before making daft statements about what we need and what we don't. It's nice that you have moved from arrogant to patronising though.

I only remember that Blackpool game when in fairness he gave one of the worst performances I've seen from a Pools player. Still struggling to see why he's even been mentioned though.

It's not about types of player it's about the individual and what he has to offer, let's see what he has to offer.

Im sorry but the facts dont support your argument.

Burgess played a full season for us, he kept coming to games to watch even when he was injured. He said himself he was interested in signing for us if things didnt work out at the Boro, and he's currently playing for a team in this league.

Dolan also played a load of games, and also would have signed for us full time. I believe he is also playing at this level now.

Williams is probably the only one of the three we didnt have the opportunity to sign, but to suggest they were no win signings for us ? Thats a crazy thing to say. If those lads hadnt played for Pools when they did, we would be in The Conference now.

Burgess is playing for Pompey never in a million years would we be able to afford wages they would be paying out. So chances of ever signing him I would of thought were probobly pretty slim to zero Williams was a class act chances of signing him again very remote even though he is now at Scunthorpe. Dolan was he really that good? Jurys out on that one probobly still better than we have now but is that not down to how bad we were then and how bad we are now. Facts are facts not one boro player has signed for us who is any good. Whether that'sdown to money boro or whatever not one has signed.

One surprising fact about Williams at pools was that we only won two of the seven games he was here. I presume he was only here a month.
