Long time lurker here, first post too. I'll also confess to being a Leeds Utd fan (Pools are my 2nd team) so I suppose the usual welcome of F*** Off will be written with great gusto, if at all.

I'm pleased to see that Hartlepul has now been granted cityzanship and after Meatloaf, that gadge might be the only other Yank ever to utter the word Hartlepool so it's no surprise he doesn't know how to pronounce it.

Great photo of the mighty Woody Guthrie over his left shoulder though.

Yes. Very very good. I'm not all that keen on MacColl's voice myself but love the songs.
