What does this guy bring to football anymore? Do we really want our kids to adopt his win at any cost attitude?

He's the world's worst loser and has repeatedly shown what a knob he is. His latest episode caught on video here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-3282335/Jose-Mourinho-appears-shove-teenage-schoolboy-flash-temper-filmed-young-Chelsea-fan.html

Yes he's the most successful current manager on paper but things like poking other managers in the eye, publicly humiliating a female member of staff(even though women know nowt about footy) and pushing school kids around just for wanting a video of a celebrity is surely not the way for such a public figure to behave.

I know the story about the female physio got dragged out but for me he generally gets off relatively unharmed when you consider Suarez's bans and the like.
I enjoyed the guy's ego when he first came to England as he was something different but I can't help feeling he should take an extended break from football for his own reputation and possibly even health.

I agree a total narcissist. Lacks humility and the class or ability to acknowledge opponents which I hate.

I don't get the anti-Morinho mob. He's a fantastically successful manager who sticks two fingers up at the establishment. I loved his comment about getting electronically tagged the next time he appears in front of the FA committee.

He was out of order with the doctor but he's right way more ofter than he's wrong. Top bloke in my view.

I still like him, and his press conferences, or when he pokes a rival member of a coaching team in the eye ! (ha ha)
But seriously, went things aren't going his way, he's quite annoying !

Yeah I'd tend to agree that side of him is likeable. The side I dislike, or rather despise, is how he would run over his own kids to win. He's taken the Wenger one sided view of refs to a whole new level and cannot accept when he's wrong.
As stated in my first post, I'd loved his freshness and arrogance when he first arrived but we'd only seen successful José before. Now we've seen under pressure Jose and he's not so likeable. Even Fergie at his worst didnt come close on the cuntiness scale.

It all feels a bit spring time for Hitler to me.

He can't be bothered anymore lacks motivation for the job but is sitting on a £30 million four year deal. He's trying to get sacked. Look out for in coming weeks him laying into a mascot and if all else fails cracking onto Ambramovich's missus.

Some premier league managers under a decent contract dont mind getting sacked because of the compensation they get then a few month later most get another lucrative job.

Sven Goran Erickson made a lot of money this way.
At least the Sunderland manager had the decency to resign but of the record probably got a cash windfall.
It a lot of cases it can pay to be a failure.

Spot on in my opinion Mr I ...... Without him what have we got in this " Worlds top league " a balloon without skin simple! With Fergie retired Morinho is the only manager to keep me interested in a otherwise totally boring premier league. Love him or hate him he is probably the last ever REAL manager to manage in the premier league and when he is gone it will be a sad day for football in my opinion not just in England but across Europe. Brian Clough left a huge gap after he retired and so did Fergie (even though I hated him I do miss the twat and so does football) ....I for one hope Morinho stays in English football for many many years to come.

The only thing Mourhino has in common with Cloughie is Forest were quite boring to watch too. Cloughie always had a sense of humour, Mourinho is as about as funny as toothache.

Mourinho was entertaining when he first came onto the scene but now he's very boring and repetitive. Blaming everybody but himself how shite Chelsea are doing, they have played some crap football this season and i've been loving watching them get beat. Diego Costa is also a twat of the highest order.

You talk about Chelsea to your hearts content. Me, I think they're one of clubs destroying lower league football. Remind me of the percentages of the distribution of the TV cash? I think our division gets get 5% divided 24 ways.

So yeah, let's talk about Chelsea and the 1 bn pounds they've spent on players funded by Abrahmovic and Murdoch.

Money talks and you obviously respect that.

Each to his own.

Were they? I seem to remember the Forest side of the 80s being up there with Liverpool in terms of entertainment. When the Sunday afty game was the only one televised live, I used to look forward to watching them. So much long ball shite from Arsenal, Wimbledon, Coventry and others in those days.

Chelsea in their current form have been loathesome for years. However, there is something which slightly redeems them. My next door neighbour is best pals with the widow of Chick Thomson, who played for Forest and Chelsea in the 50s. Every Christmas after he retired the club would send him a massive hamper, and when he died they picked up the bill for his funeral.

Apparently this is something they've always done with ex-players on the quiet, which I think is unusual for clubs. They shouldn't need to do it for any players they've had since the dawn of Sky, but I'd like to think some of their players from the 80s and before who were.paid relatively poorly still get some recognition in some way.

Can I take it that's now [2] shits given?

How you've arrived at I want to talk about Chelsea I do not know. I talked about an individual and have not at all endorsed Chelsea splashing the cash. Talk about missing the point, the title of the thread would be enough of a give away for most people.
