Unfortunately it's his competence that is being questioned. You can try as hard as you like in a job you love but if you're consistently under performing people will question your position. That doesn't seem to happen with Russ, he's untouchable.

I've spoke to him before for a short time and it's clear he has a passion for the job and is very charming.

Doesn't mean he's good at it.

He's very good at holding a room n telling people what they want to hear, I'm sure he blamed the chairman and claimed his hands are tied. If he spoke to the left back he'd blame the right back, and vice versa.

Ive heard that claim about the chairman(s) holding him back from a few regulars who used to use the so called executive boxes.
