Was Cosey Fanni Tutti on? It was good but not good enough to stop me falling asleep.

No, just GPO. Cosi was rather lovely back in the day. Throbbing Gristle were shite, like. Never got it at all.

The BBC Four thing was rather excellent especially the Postcard Records section. I was lucky to see Orange Juice, Aztec Camera and the Go-Betweens early doors, great days.

Have to agree, they always seemed like a great idea but their records were crap. Bit like Crass - slogans, T shirts and badges were all impressive but even the UK Subs made better records.

Yeah, Crass too. Good ideas poorly executed!

I liked the UK Subs a lot..good Singles Band.

I've listened to one Throbbing Gristle album...20 Jazz Funk Greats. The one where they took that nice picture at prime suicide spot Beachy Head.

It's probably best enjoyed under the influence of certain substances. I'm sure Art Students at the time got it.

Think GPO was on total flight of fantasy when he said that Ian Curtis rang him the night he killed himself and sang a Throbbing Gristle song down the phone to him. Thought he bore a striking resemblence to an unkempt version of Herr Lipp from The League Of Gentlemen with his inflated lips.
