I think calling him a poor manager is a daft pop, he clearly isn't over a long period of time, he's a proven manager at this sort of level. Not brilliant, not perfect by a long way but capable. To keep bringing up a daft song from the end of last is also daft pop I'd say.

You've already said you've never liked the bloke, this has come across very clearly.

I'm not sure what changing the manager again would achieve, the same people will still remain on the background and things are unlikely to get any better. Under Moore I think we will get better given time to turn this bad run around.

I wonder why almost every other club changes their manager then?

His overall record is decent, it's stands up better than just about every recent Pools manager and that's without even considering he took over one of the worst teams we've had, we'd won 2 out 20 in the League.

To sack him after one bad run would be as disgraceful as the treatment of Paul Murray.

Plus we change our manager every five minutes.... That's gone well for us.

How far into this bad run, which I sincerely hope ends soon, would you give him based on what he has done in the past.

Are you suggesting we don't?

Of course not. But I take it you have read the thread? I merely pointed that PJ is suggesting changng the manager is pointless. But every other club seems to take that action. Usually sooner than we do.

So my question remains, in relation to PJs post.

And I echo Bresslaws point.

At what point would people say Its you ron ron?

Hard to say, more than 8 games though. Plus he clearly has the backing of the owners he has just signed a new contract. We need to give someone time to change the mentality at the club that isn't going to happen if we change manager twice every season (in a good year)

Between 8 and 15, it a proven mark, we sacked Wadsworth after about 9, that worked out well

Until the Boardroom run the club like a league club with ambition to get promoted then it will make no difference how long the managers contract is.

Our fans are becoming amuned to failure sad but true.

You have chosen the one manager that wasnt doing a bad job when he went. I still dont know why that happened.

How many clubs have sacked their managers so far this season? Last season we were managed by Cooper, Collins, Murray and Moore all before Christmas.
.

Maybe its the board that should have been sacked for that debacle.

Walton was not good but we have had worse but you can only attract players who want to come unless you pay more than the going rate
