I watched the first season of homeland but for some reason never went back, despite enjoying it, is it still good? Is it worth revisiting?

I thought the 3rd series was pretty poor. But the last one (4th Series) was really good!

My only annoyance is Claire Danes' character.

I thought it was sort of daft but you could suspend your disbelief in the first series. The portrayal of bi-polar was pretty decent too. Got too silly to stick with early in the second batch and I've never checked back.
