It was ronnie 'make a change' - think there needs to be some perspective. Its easy after a defeat (no denying the scoreline) to come on here and say how rubbish everyone and everything is but things will look better in the morning. Exactly a year ago today we lost 3-0 at home to carlisle and cooper resigned hours after. The league table and results dont lie but there is so much more reason to be optimistic compared to this stage last season. We created so many clear cut chances today we could easily have scored 5 and won - if tyler and bartlett were on opposite teams we may have done. There was some really good fast paced football with genuine width and pace especially first half - we did fade a bit second half but kept on going. Really missing an experienced dominant centre half to bring best out of harrison carson will surely return in goal and i would stick with bingham - pace away from home in next 2 games will be a real threat and less pressure in front of home fans. Magnay showed today what a real miss he will be. Main worry is ronnie continuing to say in paper how close he is to bringing new players in - we keep hearing this dating back to john hughes days - we do need a couple of fresh faces to boost - an experienced centre back and pacy winger/forward for me.

Well Hodcroft has been attending games under 2 different owners since he left.

Might have a lot to do with Russ Green coming out of the shit smelling of Roses as usual!

Like I said few weeks ago very little has been spent on this team all we did was replace a squad with another squad possibly on less wages. Hodcroft is spotted more at games now than when he was chairman. We have a new chairman promising this and that on twitter but apart from giving Moore a contract delivering very little.

I was at the club shop about half ten this morning.

There was something going on inside the ground, I just assumed it was a training session or something but it could well have been an old mans kickabout.

Did you manage to see if there was any black and white striped strips there? Obviously Hodcroft would of been in his signed Shearer full kit.

I'd rather that to be honest in the short term, rather than any link to the local dodgepots that have been metioned lately.

One can only assume that as part of the sale there were conditions attached which allowed Russ to keep his job, and Ken to have access to the pitch for a game whenever he felt like it ?

I've been told what kens conditions are when he's negotiated a sale in the past. He's a character all right.

Defo a match at the Vic today

A mate of mine was invited to play - not sure how he was found, but he plays at a decent level in Newcastle

Is Russ Green the Chairman and this Coxall fella just a front like Peter Harris was.

The shite on the pitch is more down to a dodgy boardroom who must tbink Ronnie Moore is some kind of Magician!
