This says to me Evans wanted backing and the chairmen wouldn't give him it so he's fucked off. Might be wrong like but can't see him being sacked after the job he's done and has won last 2 games.

He's never done well on a shoestring. All his successful jobs have come with top end budgets. He left a team in a higher division (who'd also had a big budget to get out of League Two) to join Rotherham in the first place knowing with the new stadium on the horizon the type of money he'd have on offer. His early success at Boston was tarnished by more than dodgy goings on. I'm not denying he has qualities as manager but I couldn't stomach the fat fucker at Pools, some of the absolute tripe he comes out with when his teams lose is bordering on the mental at times. His conduct on the touchline is an utter embarrassment as well. He'd have done well back in the early 2000's when we were paying the wages, I doubt he would now.
