Sacked by Rotherham.

Such a shame as he is such a nice bloke and one of the good guys in Football.

Has somebody photo shopped out the sandwich he's carrying in that picture?

Hopefully he never gets another job, an odious individual.

Quite amusing what's happened at Brentford as well after getting rid of Warburton who was doing a brilliant job. They then give the next bloke 8 League games before replacing him.

Basically down to the non footballing owners of clubs who haven't a clue what makes a decent Manager. In general the lower divisions are a merry go round of the same Managers with owners reluctant to try some one untried.

You sure he was sacked?? Can't see it. Done amazing job there.

id love him at pools. Most of the best managers are absolute wankers of the highest order. Nice guy managers are fucking pointless unless ya managing Barcelona to be fair. I bet the Rotherham players respect the fuck out of him. League 2 to championship survival is some effort

Says on statement that Evans and the chairmen wanted different directions for the club and agreed to part. This says to me Evans wanted backing and the chairmen wouldn't give him it so he's fucked off. Might be wrong like but can't see him being sacked after the job he's done and has won last 2 games.

He's never done well on a shoestring. All his successful jobs have come with top end budgets. He left a team in a higher division (who'd also had a big budget to get out of League Two) to join Rotherham in the first place knowing with the new stadium on the horizon the type of money he'd have on offer. His early success at Boston was tarnished by more than dodgy goings on. I'm not denying he has qualities as manager but I couldn't stomach the fat fucker at Pools, some of the absolute tripe he comes out with when his teams lose is bordering on the mental at times. His conduct on the touchline is an utter embarrassment as well. He'd have done well back in the early 2000's when we were paying the wages, I doubt he would now.

Briefly reading Rotherham forums, it does appear he's been sacked as well, the owner had a lawyer present at the meeting, which is hardly standard practice for a Monday morning get together.

My guess is abuse of the training ground canteen, or hygiene issues. He's got to fucking stink hasn't he?

Bit of a knobhead but lets hope Ronnie can do the same job at Pools or even half of it would get us promoted.

I can't see him being out of a job for long. Crawley will be looking for a new manager soon.

Horriable nasty man but what a manager never a dull moment with him in charge won't be out of work long , as long as a chairman can work with him
