Another great day out for the chessington poolies.

Mistake on route meant having breakfast in Winchester as I thought it was on the same line to Yeovil....but no big problem, just double backed to Basingstoke before picking up the Yeovil train.....

Poor game which we made far more difficult than it should have been but was the type of game we would have usually lost so over the moon with the 3 points.

We really lacked pace up front without Bingham and definitely missing some mobility in the centre of midfield but at least we fought til the end unlike those useless egg chasers banghead

£9 in the taxi from Yeovil junction and £12 back confised

Left chessington at 8am this morning and arrived home at 10.30pm. Daggers next for me.

The first goal was one from an absolutely prefect set piece delivery, from someone has been maligned for it. From the position he was in Carroll could not have put a better ball into the box, I'm even sure it needed a touch.

I've always tried to stick up for Brad Walker, he has ability.

I reckon we could create a lot more goalscoring opportunities and win more games playing 442.
its obvious Fenwick will be more effective playing down the middle with either Of the other forwards.
Maybe with Woods been out for tuesday we mite see a midfield of Walker n Magnay in the middle with Smith n Kudos playing as proper wingers instead of Wing backs n wing forwards.

Just my opinion but Ronnies the BOSS!

Fenwick' biggest problems are the formation we usually play and billy paynter. I personally think I would give fenwick a start over paynter because he will score more goals. His all round game however is far behind paynter.

On the fringes of the play offs with 2 home games this week, cant complain. If nothing else its kept the naysayers off the board on a Saturday night.

Interestingly the goal scorers today were both players a fair few on here wanted to see playing.

Walker should definately be playing if fit. I said before the season started that I thought he would have his best season this year. That is going to only happen if he plays.

based upon what I've saw of the 3, we look more likely to create with Paynters excellent hold up play. We look way too slow without Binghams pace, but we lack the natural predatory instinct of Fenwick when he doesn't play.

It's certainly a conundrum.

It sounds like Fenwick and Boyce both tried to claim it, but the ref said afterwards neither of them had touched it.

Not according to Bet365 who are still refusing to cough up as BBC still state Fenwick scored

I think it's the press association (where football Saturday get goal scorers from) who the betting companies go with for scorers and they gave it to Fenwick.

Bet365 responded to my email with a link to the BBC Sports page to prove their point so I've responded with a link to the Hartlepool Mail

Probably wasting your time there. Does anyone believe in what the Mail has to say any more? Football 'news' will be a couple of days out of date. And as for local politics? Any criticism of the council is verboten !!!!
