I know Paynter is getting all the plaudits at the minute, and we'll deserved too, however, Magnay has been the best signing of the summer for me.

Outstanding in both games I've seen.

Would back this up. Amount of times today he just swept up in front of defence and won a lot of headers to clear our lines.

Also, good with ball at feet and never panics

certainly seems to have adjusted very quickly to an unfamiliar position. Long may it continue.

MoM again for me. Links our defence and midfield well. Nothing flash just a hard worker, puts tackles in and uses the ball well. Great signing.

Magnay had another great game and I thought he was MOM although Bartlett was also excellant. That position in central midfield really suites him, and I actually prefer him to Tish.

Is he the long awaited new Tinkler then?

I think we struggled badly last season whenever the opposition got between our midfield and defence. Moore mist have seen this and I agree with the above that Magnay has been brilliant. How great is it having a proper manager who has signed decent players. Its been way too long.

Magnay just can't seem to put a foot wrong. Excellent again yesterday. Won countless headers, broke up a number of their attacks and I can't recall a stray pass. Showed his passion and desire at the end too. Top bloke....after 3 games ;)
