These employers just take the biscuit, don't they?

Many of them currently pay wages so low that the State (ie us) have to subsidise their employees so that they can afford to live. The radical thought that the employers themselves might instead have to fork out, from their profits, is something many of them seem to think goes against the laws of the universe.

There's a rabbit way somewhere - before the election we had people on this site saying they would vote for the Tories as they would ensure their businesses would make a profit and they were the only economical and viable option.

Yet here we are facing an increase in unemployment figures for the second month running......

I'm sure Jizz and his amazing mind of knowledge will be able to shed light on what is really going on - no way have Dodgy Dave and George Osbourne duped the electorate......

I agree with chip tried getting somewhere to eat tomorrow all places I like are fully booked down here. I walk around st ives on weekend every bar and restaraunte are full same as Cambridge during the week when at work I went for a coffee the other day at a plAce in city centre I like. It was full so I stood outside nattering to a mate having a smoke and a coffee.

The north of England is as much the same country as the south of England as Scotland is.

i'd like to see a movement for the north to separate from southern England. We're holding each other back.

I agree Jizz - nothing would please me more than seeing Scotland, Wales Ireland become fully independent, followed closely by the North of England - and by full independence that would mean closed borders and freedom to choose who to deal with.

There's a bit inside that link that shows an employer crying into his beer because for the first time in his life he's going to have to pay people decent wages, which is what I was trying to draw attention to.

Still, I'm all for declaring war on Southern England, so some good has come out of this.

MFR, I know you're right. But I've no real experience of dealing with 'attention seeking fuckbuckets' and so am on a learning curve. Neither my kid nor any of her friends ever went through the stage of opting to appear witless in order to get attention. Thinking about it, this is probably because they were taught joined-up writing at the usual age.

When Corbyn gets in of course, Jiz will be first against the wall. It's only a matter of time......
