I thought he was excellent today and will give Carson some good competition for his place. Anyone else think he looks a bit like De Gea of Manure?

Looks small for a goalie but played very well apart from one dodgy moment in first half.

Looks a solid keeper. Quick off his line, commands his box, gives the ball out quickly and looked a decent shot stopper.

Makes such a difference having a good keeper for once.

Difficult and odd for me to criticise us after a win but I thought he looked a bit dodgy...small (can't do a lot about that to be fair), poor distribution (kicking) and got away with a couple of gaffs...don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the fella and in the main he did ok, just felt he was a little bit on the dodgy side..

I'm reserving judgement.

I may be wrong, but wasn't that his Football League Debut ?

Yes he isn't the biggest keeper, but that's some of the best, safest handling you'll get. The lad grew in confidence as the game went on, some good catches under pressure late in the game and his reaction save low down to his left late on to keep a clean sheet was great.

Well done young man, now build on it!

It made a change to have a keeper who can keep the ball on the pitch; something which Flinders didn't improve upon, during his stay.

Agree, I liked the way he got the ball away when the opportunity arose as opposed to Flinders habit of continually clutching the ball, surveying the scene for an eternity then eventually kicking it to an oposition player.

Thought his handling was excellent. Certainly will put pressure on Carson when he is fit.

I thought he looked very solid and put a good display in. Carson will have to earn his place back. Good selection headache for Ronnie now.

Three decent keepers on the books now.
Ronnies building a tidy squad now.

He did say when he first arrived
Part One: keep us up
Part Two: Promotion to league One.

He certainly got me convinced we can achieve what he said!

The name Bartlett to me suggests that he is small, as in 'piglet'. He's just a small Bartle, but if he keeps clean sheets then he's alright by me.

Shocked to read our reserve keeper has been compared to de gea who is 1 of the worlds best and about to go for 40 million. Can't beat pools fans. Massive start to season and in Ronnie we trust
