Thought he was terrific today. Loved some of the football we played at times as well. Binghams pace terrifies the fuck out of defenders and he will get us some goals. Impressed with Paynter too.

Referee was a disgrace and think il be putting some money on Morecambe next week, look a tidy little side - very unfortunate.

I think they will cause better teams than us problems. Thing is we have movement and pace up front and if teams dont take chances we will.

Does anyone know who sponsored the part of the pitch that we scored from? Thought they were going to announce them?

Thought Woods was excellent and looked well fit even in the closing stages of the game.

I hope you took my advice and took some of the 11-8 for Pools today. At those odds I thought the bookies were giving money away. My holiday spending money is now safely in my back pocket.

Enjoyed the game today with 2 teams playing some decent stuff and nice to see some real positives too.

Woods, Paynter, Bingham, Bartlett, Magnay all doing very well.

Got to say though I don't know how we kept a clean sheet, very fortunate, and Worley didn't look at it today. Good if we can get Mirfin back like to add some extra defensive steel to a very good attacking team.

We'll score some goals this year that's for sure

I thought Worley looked very good at the back. Our full backs didn't do too well but 4-3-3 does that if your wide strikers don't track back.

Everyone had a good game today, only criticism was Fenwick, thought his mouth was going to get him sent off, looked knackered but lack of pre-season minutes will have done that. He'll come good.

Agree Woods was class today, Featherstone wasn't bad either, I think they work well together.

I think we looked really good going forward but Morecambe were really unlucky, we rode our luck at times and with better finishing they could have had four.

Always a good sign when you come away from a game like that with a win, BR (Before Ron) we'd have lost that game.

I don't know who morecambes next league game is against but I am tempted to put a bit of cash on them to win. I think they will do quite well this season.
