Did I tell you I popped into Torshaven for a day, during me holidays and that I saw the Faroes national football ground? It is very very minute...smaller than the Vic, by the looks.

So, as we're all bored this afty, what is the smallest professional football ground you've been to?

PS To make this even more interesting, the ground has to be English League 2 or above.

Are ye, derwent? Will you be touring around?

We were doing a tour of some Scottish Islands as well as the Faroes, but didn't really get to see much except the sea and the inside of a boat.

I went to Evreux once and it was way smaller than the Vic. A heavy meal prior to the game might however have scrambled my estimating abilities.

Accy Stanley is probably the smallest I can think of. Wimbledon's might beat it for smallness.

Yes, they are. But on a typical sea-tour you see very little of the scenery.
We might go back to the area, using local transport rather than cruise-type
travel.

Been to Arbroath's ground which is as basic as they come, and which I think is also the closest to the sea in the UK. I was there on a sunny summer's day but I could imagine how brutal it would be up there in a hoolie.

Also played cricket at North Devon Cricket Club which has to be the closest cricket ground to the sea in the country. The other side of the boundary wall is the sea (or is it the estuary?).

Accy and AFC Wimbledon for sure. Burton and morecambe can't be far behind although not a criticism, both are tidy grounds

The mode of transport I'm using has restricted space. For example, fat twats like you would probably be left on the ground.

I had the pitch (mounted on thin wood so nice and smooth and a few stands with painted spectators but sadly never got the flood lights I longed for :(

I never got a Mr Frosty either and always wanted one of them.

A convincing imitation of henry underscore, the prolific rivals WUM (all the boards, not just Pools').

In England it's deffo Stanley at Div 2 level or above.
On a similar theme can't recommend the Highland League highly enough. Some great titchy grounds. Stunning scenery & usually close to a good distillery-http://www.highlandfootballleague.com/Clubs/
