I personally trust Moore with this decision. Yes Fenwick scored some important goals last season but he was also blowing out of his arse after 50 minutes. Maybe after his injury and his FIRST pre season as a professional Footballer he isn't fit enough? He has been doing some extra sessions too in a gym in Newcastle which may suggest he still isn't fit enough for a Football league player? Even if he isn't starting because Moore has brought in his own strikers, who cares? He's still going to get plenty of game time.

What he said ^ & I would love Billy to smash a couple on Saturday I might just start singing in the Town End

Thanks MadJohn. As I have always said, Fenwick should definitely be in from the start

sure people are allowed their opinions, i think the point is being missed here and certainly isn't a criticism or a scapegoat.

everyone seems to agree fenwick is a goalscorer, extra fitness he's been doing is to help him come back stronger from his injury and surely anyone could see how much his fitness improved just from start of when he signed.

I have faith in Ronnie, but it doesn't mean you can't oppose something he seems to be doing. He's not the messiah you know and as fans we are allowed an opinion which may differ from the manager; without it being deemed abusive or scapegoat targeting.

We haven't seen Paynter in a proper match yet and we only saw Fenwick in the best team that could be scraped together in a scrap for survival. Ronnie looks like he is going with Paynter and Bingham. He must believe that he can get the best out of Paynter by boosting his confidence after what went on at Carlisle. he must also think that a fully fit Bingham, who played much better starting for us than he did off the bench for Mansfield, is a better bet for goals than a still recovering Fenwick. You can be sure that Fenwick will fight very hard for his place as the season goes on.

We'll find out if he's right over the next couple of months. Hopefully we'll discover that Ronnie really is a good manager and we have three decent forwards fighting for two places but for now I would have thought arguing about whether Fenwick should start is fair enough.

bingham is going to be main striker, pace should worry majority of teams.
