Looks like there was a cover up to protect the former PM even though he was alleged to have been involved in some very bad business indeed.

I was worried you were going to tell me he'd done a Cilla Black. Imagine my relief to learn he's still on this mortal coil.

It would be a huge surprise surprise if he appeared in court as he's been brown bread for a while now. Seems to be the rule for these investigations.

Here he is trying to ensnare the youth with his skateboarding tricks:

It wouldn't surprise me if this isn't still widespread. These networks don't just 'go away'.

He could often be seen banging away on his organ... or whatever it is you do to them.

Allegedly part of a network of former MPs and Cabinet Ministers including Leon Brittan and Greville Janner with a penchant for young boys.

Those Public Schools had a lot to answer for it seems. Flashman et al' used to have the younger boys doing more than polishing their shoes I'd guess. I do wonder how many got good jobs in the City on the back of it?. It's common knowledge that the upper tier of the BBC in the 60/70's was top heavy with the 'ring on the little finger' clique.

Well the venerable Lord Sewell as good as told anyone taking an interest in his sordid affairs the other week when asked by the young lady he was with, something like ' do many MPs have affairs with girls?' Sewell's repsonse was something like ' well not really with girls...'

Give over. Ted Heath isn't dead. Well, maybe the band leader Ted Heath is.

I'm not convinced by this one. Ted Heath had round the clock police security from the time he was leader of the Conservatives onwards. A leader of that profile in the height of IRA activity could not just nip out.

Yes, but the security isn't there to protect the victims. The security is aimed at the wrong people. And there is collaboration. These are key points.

Jimmy Savile was really famous, so you'd think that when he swanned into hospitals and kids homes and morgues to do what he liked, people would have noticed. What's clear is that he was protected, as were dozens if not hundreds of others.

What does the little finger ring actually mean? I've worked with men and women who have one, and I always thought they looked odd.

It doesn't necessarily mean you 'bat for the other side' as I, as well as others will know people who wear a ring on that finger because they choose to only. It was 'at that time' a free-masons handshake if you like, a quick eye contact confirmation of 'I'm on your team' or an arty type also..... I assume.

They are confusing Ted Heath with Mike Yarwood.

Talking about Mike Yarwood, anyone remember how he used to do fantastic, note perfect medleys of famous singers and at the end he would sing in his natural voice and say "and this is me" ... and it was totally unlistenable.
