No socks

What is the idea of the current 'trend' of fellas going out of their house/flat/bedsit with no socks on? Is it happening in the North or just down here in the South? Good looking guys in expensive outfits and no socks, go figure!

I was actually given 3 pairs of their socks as a Christmas present about 5 years ago in a fancy dan box, which went into far too much detail about how they were hand made in Italy by craftsmen. The usual bollocks.

What then happened is that over the course of the next 12 months I found myself wearing them more and more and comparing my other socks unfavourably with them. Eventually I bough another 3 pairs off their website in a sale and now have about 15 pairs in total.

£15 is a lot to pay for a pair of socks when you think about it, but at the moment they have a sale on and you can get 3 pair for £13.50 which I think is reasonable.

Agree the rest of the stuff on their website is pretty appalling.

3 pack on ebay for £13.50. Il give a review once they arrive.

I probably haven't worn black socks for about 3 years. I always go for striped/spotted.

I suppose the only antidote to receiving a pack of all-black socks would be if someone else bought you a 3 pack of red socks at the same time. Then you could mix them up.

I used always to wear odd socks at the Vic, after spotting on a number of occasions that this coincided with a win for us. Over time I couldn't help noticing that the team had stopped responding to socks.

I have a wide range of socks in the mid-price range. They're all jumbled up in the drawer but as a rule I rummage about to find a pair. Current favourites are a three pack of colourful ones from Original Penguin. Got them very cheap at TKMaxx.

In hot weather I go for sandals without socks but I'd be prepared to go for socks with sandals if it guaranteed inducing a heart attack in Mr Monkeybutt.

I have around 40 pairs of identical black socks, all bought at the same time from Marksies. I wash them all at the same time so they fade evenly, and replace a batch about every five years.

It's absolutely 24/7 rock n roll in our house, as not wasting time looking for a matching pair means laods more time for snorting coke off prossies' knockers like a lord.
