Anyone know it? They keep you informed all summer but they never seem to want to disclose the final total.

They don't give final figure so they can adjust the gates accordingly during the year? I've been going to pools too long, just being a bit cynical.

They've announced the final figure every year apart from this one haven't they?

A bloke who lives at the top of Belk Street told me that the final total is written on a slip of paper, it is then forwarded by a man (who then has to take a cyanide pill ) to members of the Illuminati, they pass it onto the Bilderburg Group who lock it into an underground safe deep in the Austrian mountains.
Anyone caught uttering the final total in public is virtually signing their own death warrant. Incidentally the final total he told me (before being ran over by an unmarked car) was 3.........hold on, who's that at the door? men in black suits?.......

No never ever give the final one even the year we sold over 5000 they didn't tell you the exact total as they said they had to process some day after.

No seriously though for years we have been slated for having poor crowds we were bottom of the league by ten points for great chunks of last year. To sell over 3000 is a magnificent achievement just would of been nice to of been told how many we did sell that's all.

If you put it like that, fair enough. You never know, they might yet come out.

Pretty sure they didn't last year either.

To be fair it's not the final total, it's just the end of the early bird offer, the increase to 'full' price isn't substantial this year so we could sell a few more yet.

Facts are they have never told you the final total. They might tell you with a day to go but the final one is never announced wasn't last year or for the previous ones either. But its a good moan anyway lol.

...so if we assume 2/3 of those people paid full price and the remaining 1/3 is concessions, that' aprox £675000....

Yes, they took that money, 127 of the comfy cushions that you could get to go on the seats in the old wooden stand, six Bob Marley wigs and The Simpsons box set off the bus. Allegedly.

Not sure, my sauce just said the box set. I've been worrying that Ken got the complete seasons 1-24 and is working his way through all 140 DVDs.

I haven't been impressed with the newer Simpsons episodes at all, nowhere near as good as the classics. Luckily Channel 4 have been showing some great episodes recently like Monorail and the Burlesque house one.

The one the other night where the pasta sauce told Homer what his life would have been like if he'd become class president was good. Not burlesque house standard but very good.

My sons bang into it which is great for me, we'll get the younger kids to bed n watch a few on the night. i dont mind the new ones on sky, i liked the one where homer became duff man. It's still funny and watchable, tho i agree they'll never compete with channel 4.

ch4 showed the sideshow bob n cecil one on sunday, i think that is my favourite.

Wasnt the Australia episode in series 2? That is my favourite one, were Bart makes the phone call about bog water going the same way in both hemispheres.

A classic.

Now I think the songs in the Simpsons are some of the best bits about it (Including Mr Burns "see my vest" song) But our lass turns them off. The compilation episode of all the songs was a beaut (from Butte?)

The songs in South Park are brilliant, Kyle's Mom's a Bitch!

South Park's recent episodes have been really good.

Not bad at all considering the last two seasons. With the right manager now in charge I see us finishing in the top half. With some investment in Mirfin. Tishibola and Hugill I see us being promoted.
