Did alright as a player had goals in him but did leave as he was indeed homesick but as dad is here, different circumstances and a different job apply

I thought that as soon as I posted, but then scouts are away at games I'd guess at least twice a week. Not much different to being a player surely?

He didn't leave because he was homesick, he left because of the travelling between his home in Warrington to Hartlepool and Durham and back for games and training. I can't say I blame him as it is a horrible journey.
