Wright voted against it knowing that the scutter, benefit claiming low life scum that vote for him in the town will consider him a hero

At the end of the day he's there to represent his constituents, the majority of whom, whether you like it or not, are of a left leaning persuasion.

Not everyone on benefits is scum by the way. Most people have probably claimed at some point, its kind of why us working types pay National Insurance.

That's what confused me. I don't associate anyone who is left leaning with Labour these days, but I get your point.
