Or he might survive for a bit, to comply with some rule or other and then, one day, he will vanish and no-one will know why.

I would expect Russ Green to survive, I doubt Hodcroft could recommend him highly enough for how he is as an employee.

Personally I'd keep him on as well; IOR haven't invested in the club for about 5 years and yet we are still here when he is virtually running the club. A lot of people mock him winning CEO of the year but that was voted for by his peers and presumably all the other CEO's in the league know more about running a club than we do. If he can this without any backing I'd like to see what he can do with financial support.

CEO of the year was a category in which he put himself forward for, which the club paid for by the way.

He is also on the board which votes for the winners of these awards.

It's a bit like Simon cowell entering X factor n then awarding himself the winners spot.

Well said, i remain slightly cynical but they have passed the appropriate tests and so not sure what else could be done.

With 6 new signings and potentially more to follow, the future is looking positive.
