Winger just been released by Scunthorpe, Moore was after him last season and even said last week hopefully a winger coming in this week.

Don't want to get ahead of myself here, but does fit the bill.

At 27 year-old and 6'-0" tall.

Had a good record at Port Vale.

I know I'm jumping the gun but couldn't resist looking at his goals for Port Vale on YouTube.

Could be a good signing if it comes off.

I said before when we were linked to him, the description my Scunthorpe supporting mate gave me sounded just like Franks. Far too little end product. Maybe as an option on the bench if we need to revert back to 442.

He's got a Scunthorpe link though, surely that's all that counts?

He got into the PFA league 2 team of the year 2 years ago, so I think he'll be a lot better than Franks was.

I think throughout the season, Franks could be a bigger loss than people may think. Hopefully not though !

Really?

What exactly are we going to miss?

The lad tried hard but for the vast majority of the time he was massively frustrating choosing the wrong option because he didn't get his head up or his awful final ball. If the object of football was hitting the first man with a cross he'd be in contention for the ballon d'or.

Two league goals last season, an embarrassing return for an attacking player who featured all season.

All he offered was energy but only really stood out out because the rest of the team were quite slow and letheragic (More so before Moore) I dont think missing his energy will be noticeable next season.
