Has turned down a new contract at Bristol Rovers.

Can't see it. Ronnie wants wingers to beat a man and get a cross in, that's not Monkhouses game especially at 34. He also wants pace.

I love Monky but can't see him fitting him coming in unless Moore thinks he can play else where.

Strange he has turned a deal down though, must have something lined up? Did he only sign a 1 year deal I guess??

He played up front towards the end of his time here, did a reasonable job but that was in comparison to other 'strikers' we had at the time.

no no and no not another 34 year old with no pace, but good servant in his day

The elderly care home run by Cooper has now be superseded by a posh set of flats for 20 something social climbers !

Rovers fans are gutted by the looks of it, most say he played a pivotal role in their promotion.

I'd like to see him back for one more year

I would of had him in the the situation we were in last season as a loan exchange for Compton. But not now at 34, that situation has passed and gone.

No thanks.

Move on. His time has been and gone. There's plenty more players out there.

As has been said by others. A great player in his early years here and truth be told even in his poorer performances he was a player who could win games. Would I have him back now? Probably not. Wish him well though

A definate no no.
Good player in his younger days but used to go into lazy mode to much in his last two seasons at pools.

I don't think many Pools fans think that, especially when we wiped the floor with Darlo and he stopped to head the ball in. One of Pools best ever days and he milked it after scoring, it's great humiliating Darlo don't you think J Dizzle?

I think it's great, sadly I was 10 when that happened so although I remember being happy, I don't remember too much of players ability then... I just remember the lazy prick who turned up with 6 games left in a season to get a new contract and was seemingly afraid to take players on.
