Just been on Hartlepool Official Site, viewing photo gallery of players doing fitness session obviously prior to preseason.

This gives me real hope for the coming season. In particular nice to see the likes of Woods and Fenwick who both ended the season injuries and rehab to do.

The work on the pitch is well on the way, it's really looking good.

It just seems that everything is so positive at the moment, the Calibre of the new signings, the enthusiasm of everybody, it's like we're all getting carried along by a huge wave of enthusiasm by what's happening.

It's got a feel of the Chris Turner era (first time round)about it?

The Optimism is defo returning.
A massive turnaround from last season.
Genuinely believe we can get back to league One under Ronnie

Wait til the first loss in a meaningless preseason game. The optimism will soon fade and the boo boys will have chosen their victim(s) for the entire season

Although I'd like to see the new look team hit the ground running I think with all the new players involved there will need time to gel together as a team, so to talk about losing a preseason friendly isn't an issue to me.

Lets just say I'm optimistic.

I have got faith in Ronnie.
