Negative view of life in your world meaning anyone who doesn't want or need to 'get on' ,'aspire' or even 'succeed' .......it's called contentment, it's got a lot going for it. Try it, you might get to like it, but there's no money or prestige in it.

Snowy - there's nothing wrong with being content. Indeed, it should be the goal of all, but I and others are not seeing contentment in people whingeing about how others want to improve their lot further than others.

I have to say I was a person who like gadgets all fancy clothes etc every month but since having a daughter I don't care anymore. Tonight I took her round park for an hour just me and her went on swings and looked at the ducks. It cost nowt and ment more than anything. I don't mind doing without now as long as she smiles and that is most important the best thing you can spend is time not money.

Stuff like that is ellish. I have a great time with mine on 'transport days', where we get tickets that allow you unlimited travel on any bus, tram and train in greater Nottingham. They love booling about on them all day, and it costs about a fiver.
