Two ways you could go about it.

1. You could tell him the harsh truth.
2. You could lie and get his hopes up.

Either way, you're going to piss him off.

Does he do a good goal celebration? You could always play on that.

Just tell him he'll shift a lot of shirts. Just miss out the fact they won't be Havant A Fookingclueville football shirts.

He only actually started 4 games for us and managed to score an absolutely vital goal in the context of our season so even Ronnies only shit signing to date wasn't THAT bad! It was Moore who made the decision early, which I think was more down than attitude on the training ground and work rate on the pitch than ability, to not involve him anymore. You can't really say he diabolical he wasn't given the opportunity to get to that stage!

He scored the winning goal v nortampton fair play for that.
But after that he failed ti deliver.
How many other managers would of had the bollocks to say i got a loan signing wrong and ultimately dropped him.

A desicision that played a part in keeping us up!

He was pretty poor to be fair. Unable to hold the ball up and pretty lightweight in general.

With a 1 in 5 ratio and a description of 'pretty poor he's ranked in the top 15% of Pools strikers ever.
