When I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was that no-one called Blatter has ever been at the club previously.

I can't see Sepp doing time for anything sadly, he is too well protected. Hopefully FIFA can move on now though, and award England the world cup instead of Qatar.

Mutley that's a bit harsh mate.

I wouldn't wish four days of man flu on anyone.

I always thought his first name should be Fanny, seems appropriate somehow.

If the Yanks had won the bid for the 2022 World Cup would they have investigated FIFA ?

They deserve to host the World Cup as reward

They investigated Lance Armstrong didn't they? Even though they don't give much of a toss about cycling — and they don't give one about socker either.

I have a sneaky feeling that the investigation is getting too close for comfort for Mr Blatter.
Now that he is gone/going I wonder if more people will be encouraged to come forward and expose the bastard.

Think the problem is that they were all involved so when they shop him they'll shop themselves. Chuck Blazer was already being done so he had nothing to lose and a lot to gain by cooperating. I reckon Blatter will have enough stashed away to afford good enough lawyers to keep him free until he pegs it. Probably heading for a country without an extradition treaty as well.

Has he also quit as head of the World Society of Friends of Suspenders?

I'm just glad somebody did.
