Putting aside the debate on the pros and cons of the loan system, how many of Moore's 9 new players will be loans from our "big 3" neighbours, which I assume will be cheaper options.

The three you mention are not big.

Can we make that absolutely clear?

I think all 9 will come from the 3 big clubs sooo.

9 players divided by 3 teams = 4 players from each team.

Boro are only average size unless they got a chance of going to Wembley. So two big clubs one average

well with any luck one of these two so called big clubs will get relegated next week.

and hopefully the average one wont go up.

That would leave us with one big one and two average ones.

Terminology is important here.

He did mention neighbours. I'm not sure you can class Chelsea as a neighbour though

Lets be honest since we have been getting these loans from the three clubs mentioned we have never looked back. The rest of the division will be shitting themselves if they find out we will be doing it again.

them being in the premier league would most likely be far better for us in regards to which players might be available for loan.

whilst people hate the premier league and the teams individually, loaning their promising players is a positive for us, as long as it's season long and not them shitty month by month loans

So are they a big club seeing as they are indeed going to be playing at Wembley? I think the likeliest scenario of all the promotion and relegation issues is that all 3 North East teams will be in the Premier shit next season. With the money involved I'd say that makes all 3 'big' clubs

Hmm. The Boro loanees Pools have had in recent reasons have mostly been decent, Scott Harrison from the Mackems did very nicely, but the Barcodes kids have been chronic. No wonder their team is full of foreigners!

In fact, it's a struggle to remember when we last had a decent loan from Newcastle. Steve Harper, 1997, springs to mind - he was excellent.

What about since then? Who have I missed?

Sammy Adeji was quality for us about 2 year back.

Er- right. Had to look that one up - I think I was at the game (MK Dons) where he got on as sub. He did look quality till he got injured! For time on the pitch it must have been one of the shortest loan spells in Pools' history.

Don't forget we had Ameobi nailed on to join us. I wasn't impressed with him like.

My definition of a big club is what they've actually won and not how many nuggets they can sell season tickets to on a promise.

How many of Moore's loans came from the big 3 previosly. He stating the obvious that he may use our neighbours as the players are already in the area, But his loans last seasonincluding his bad one (Morgan from Plymouth) proved he's happy to look at other clubs players

I wonder if Sunderland's securing safety tonight affects potential loans from them one way or another.

Oh, and 'away 'ull!
