Efe Sodje was always immense when he played against Pools. Probably one of the best centre backs at lower league level that I remember seeing.

Gareth Ainsworth got an ovation at the Vic from our fans vs QPR I seem to remember

Impressive if he did as I remember him getting one with Wycombe too when they beat us 3-1.

QPR's team that year they beat us 4-1 was the best I've seen us come up against in the league.

Notts county fans would mention Pedersen.

Since the war, In The Mad Crowd has Colin Garwood and Eric Gemmel both putting 13 past us. Big Stevie is joint-third along with Tony Lormor, Frank Lord and Kevin Francis.

You're probably hampering Stevie by limiting it to goals after the war mind.
