Double-Tracked Vocals so it will be one taped, one Live over the top of that. "How Does It Feel" is Noel Gallaghers favourite song of all-time. I didn't see Slade until the 80's despite being a massive fan from 1971 onwards and I can tell you, Noddy Holder was one of the Top 3 Vocalists I've ever seen. Incredible voice. Great song that..from Slade in Flame..top fillum!

David Bowie's agent or whoever accused Sweet of plagiarising the riff from the Jean Genie for Blockbuster.
The gadgie who arranged Blockbuster was having none of that. He said he'd plagiarised that riff from the Nashville Teens’ Tobacco Road, and he was right!

Noddy Holder was a one off, Jim Lea who played guitar, keyboard and violin was a talented bloke too. 'Cos I Luv You' is a cracking song by them.

It's all from "Got Love If You Want It" by Slim Harpo isn't it? The Yardbirds used that riff lots an all.

We do a "Glam Medley" thing with Blockbuster/Jean Genie/Spirit In The Sky and you don't have to move your left hand over 9 minutes!

They used to have one vocal, pre recorded, on tape, then let the lead singer sing live over the top of it. Standard BBC practice for live music shows in the 70s. So some of it will be live, but if he needed to duck out you'd never know as there's a second vocal on tape. Holder sings live all the way through on that clip though.

Glen Tilbrook is one of the best for me. Sublime vocals and the bastard made me cry salt tears when he sang Labelled With Love. Squeeze and Sir John Cooper Clarke playing The Sage in autumn can't wait

The documentary It's Slade (I think it was called) from around 1999 is pretty good too.
