You reelected the worst constituency MP in history and you voted in an even more redundant council. Even the Belchers mother is on the council now.

You voted for them, you got what you deserve. I amazed that so many stupid people can inhabit a single town.

If Ian Brady stood with a red rosette on, he'd get voted in in Hartlepool.

It's just the way it is and that's why Hartlepool is in the shit it is.

You reap what you sow.

The thick people, in my opinion, are the ones who can't accept that northern towns like Hartlepool will generally vote labour just as leafy Surrey suburbs will generally vote tory.
If people generally want change in Hartlepool they should all join the local Labour party and change it from within by filling it with people who genuinely only want what is best for the Town as against the nest featherers you have now.
Problem is that the thick whingers can't see that. Instead they join or back the tory party and spend the rest of their thick lives banging their collective heads against a brick wall, as do Labour supporters in Leafy surrey.
If Hartlepool was a Tory town you would probably still have the nest featherers but instead of them being red they would be blue because genuine Hartlepool loving people can't be arsed to go into local politics.
So wake up and realise that the only way to change the council mind set is for enough of you to join the traditional winners and change that party for the better. if you all got off your arses and did something instead of continually whingeing you just might get the chance of de selecting Mr Wright. if you can't beat them, join them and then you'll beat them. Think about it.

Anyone who tries to oppose the Belchers and their corrupt cronies is kicked out of the Labour party or given a hiding to nothing seat, they're corrupt and if anyone tries to take them on will play the discrimination card.

Unless the electorate stop being thick nothing will ever change.

If you're so convinced that nothing can be done then you'll just have to accept it. Therein lies the problem. If people aren't prepared to challenge this set of cronies and continue challenging them, then Mr I is right, you get what you deserve.

People have challenged them, people within the party tried and were booted out, people outside tried and can't get enough traction.

Hartlepool folk don't care enough they only care about the label.

Mr Derwent, much as I agree with you in principle, the question that leaps to mind is why labour? Why do you need labour? You might as well say join the tory party and change it from within.

The reason I say Labour, Monty, is because I am referring to Hartlepool, where Labour is dominant.

Voting Labour for the council is pointless as they as corrupt and need removing. Voting any other than Labour in the national vote is likewise pointless as no one other than the Tories or them can form a government. ... Unless we change the election system..

Exactly what I did. It's quite a common thing in America to stop one party having total control of an area like Labour do in our town now or more particularly, one couple in our town now.

Are you spouting the shit you read in the daily fail or something one of your racist ' mates ' told you about his job getting stolen. If you believe the problems facing this country are down to few thousand Romanians coming here and doing what they can to earn a crust then you are a stupid fukwit
