No surprise given his form/goals for Pools. Not a bad player to have on the bench and I wouldn't be surprised if he played a key part in Preston's play-off games. Good luck to the lad.

Sounded like Hugill was desperate to break into the Squad- if they go up there is no chance- fair play to him his attitude was good here and he did a decent job. Would take him on loan again if that was possible.

Hes got to talk the talk with having a year left on his contract.
I wouldent rule out him coming back on loan next season
