Well a day after meeting uncle ken one of ronnies first comments have been we will need to use the loan system next year. I take it we wont be getting the 9 players Ronnie wants by July then if he is already pin pointing the loan market.

To be fair there is nothing wrong in using the loan market, it is an over-reliance on it that will cause concerns

Yeah fair enough the odd loan here and there is great just bit strange that Ronnie never came out and said yeah going to get good backing or the chairman will do his best not to let this happen again. Just we will have to use the loan market.

The same article also says that the Hartlepool boss is ready to dip into the world of permanent transfers!

Hardly exciting reading or enticing to buy 3000 season tickets add to that the ready made pitch and cctv excuse and lets be honest do we really expect a major culling of players tommorow that should really take place but no doubt wont. It will be a list of loan players gone back with maybe Holden thrown in for good measure.

I highly doubt the Echo and Mail go to see Ronnie everyday for interviews. They will do 1 interview and make articles out of that for a whole week. Its very likely these comments about the loan system are from an interview from Monday. Before he met with Uncle Ken.

Get a player on a season-long loan and you forget he's a loanee after a while. There are plenty of examples even at the highest level.
Get players in for a month with instant recall clauses and that's a different saucepan of trout altogether.
