At full time today it was announced that Scott Mathieson was officiating his last game as a referee after 25 years, naively expecting us to clap him off.

I rejoiced at the prospect of the poison dwarf never spoiling another game at the Vic again. The ultimate small mans syndrome who thought everybody had come to watch him.

One always shit ref ticked off, 313 to go.

Strangely I thought the last couple of times he's been in charge at the Vic he was one of the better refs! The rest of the times he was dire, small man syndrome with a vengeance, especially with regard to Monkhouse.
