Evening all

Walsall fan here in peace.

With huge thanks to a member of this board I have cobbled together a little documentary mixing together a short interview with him and last Saturday’s match footage.

My phone is crap especially when rain gets in so apologies if people are expecting crisp clean match footage but I hope you can appreciate that my enthusiasm for the game and lower league football is there.

I’m also pissed off that I missed one of your players when he started gee-ing up the players and the crowd – that was the money shot that I needed but (for a second) – I forgot I was filming and enjoyed it as a fan.

I think you’ll do well next season by the way.

With any video I make – if just one person enjoys it then I feel that it’s been worth it so I hope one of you does!

Due to music used - it might have ads - i really hope not... (I also don't know how to embed a video on here)

Yeah, sod the premier league and the bastards that have contributed to the money grabbing mess that football has become.

We were never 14 points clear of Walsall though , we were playing catch up till late that season. Our unbeaten 23 game run that season to catch them up and take over for a bit. Beat for title by Rushden after being that far ahead. Or has my memory finally gone But the video was good.

You're mixing up 2 seasons.

Excellent video. Don't change the mobile and upgrade to something smoother. It adds to the realism and dare I say it, a bit of grittiness to your clips.

Thanks to all for your positive comments.
It honestly means a lot.
As regards to Ronnie - he was fantastic to "interview" although i was a bit concerned when looking through the footage that he came across as a bit too negative....
Me and the missus thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and his dad.
I honestly think you have nothing to worry about next season - Ronnie Moore is a great team builder (as you know) and you might even flirt with the play offs if not better.
As a final point - i made a similar sort of video chronicling Walsall's JPT game against Preston when we got to Wembley and put it on my own team's forum with a lot less response than you lot have.

Seriously - if you're not one of the walsall forum elite - posting a comment on "upthesaddlers" is like walking into "The Slaughtered Lamb".....

Best of luck for next season lads and lasses -if ever any of you are in newcastle and fancy a pint - give us a shout....

He's been predicting relegation every season for the last 7 seasons don't you know !

That is not true and you know it, actually predicted 6th off bottom this season I seem to recall, of course that's 3 places out, how silly of me.

Poor old Chip, amongst all the positive comments, you choose to have yet another cheap dig at me.

I will leave it to the others to judge you.
