It was TMH before they were stitched up by Hodcroft. And Green.

Stitched up in what way?

It is my understanding that TMH due diligence uncovered a lot of undisclosed issues and that's why IOR forced the agreement to expire so that whatever their names were couldn't expose what was found.

My understanding was the other way around. Guess we will all hear stories from different sources and have to choose who and what we believe.

One were a bunch of crooks alledgedly the other were a bunch of proven crooks. Either way I think IOR are the lesser of two evils. Hopefully they're still intent on selling up, preferably taking Russ along with them to whatever country their chosen company is in this week.

Pretty much how I see it. If some of the stories are to be believed then some very worrying times for football in this country! Make sense why so many clubs are in a mess.

You are probably right, it just seems that no one every tells us officially what's going on so stories have a habit of making their own route. The info I got was that everyone had their hand in the till at the club (well everyone who could) at senior level and even on the gates on matchday! Added to this was IOR services companies charging way over the going rate for things, milking the club for a small fortune, thereafter relending the money back to the club.. I think I have that somewhere about right but it was a while back now so maybe I got it wrong, not sure..

Sad thing is we will never know for definite what went on.

, oh I don't know, Ronnie Moore or someone similar, instead of spending 6 weeks reading CVs.

That always infuriated me, the long drawn out manager process. A bit like reading the 2341 page instruction manual twice on a how to use a parachute as you leave the aircraft... then wonder why you're dead. Responding to situations that required a quick reaction was never a strongpoint, thank God they never ran the fire service.
