For Tranmere. A proper old fashioned football club. No pleasure in seeing them go out of the league. Cheltenham are a different matter, they put us out of the play offs. Not bitter like.

Correct Indeed Mr. I. If it had been Pools it would of been a very unnatural, empty, and depressing feeling not being in the Football league.

Do feel for Tranmere given they were a decent championship (old div one at least) club not so long ago. Agree with Cheltenham. That playoff defeat, plus the place feels non leaguey. Back where they belong.

I liked away games to tranmere. I'll be looking out for them coming back up next season. They just like us belong in the football league. Good luck to them next season.

Tranmere fan here. First of all congratulations on your survival, fantastic achievement from being 10 points adrift, well deserved. Secondly, thanks for most of your kind words, not all Tranmere fans are horrible. Hopefully we will build our club up and once again challenge in the Football league where I think we belong. Will be good to see youse back Mighty White.

I've always thought of Birkenhead as a parallel Hartlepool, small industrial town with proper football fans in the shadow of 'big' clubs.
