I had a bit of dust in my eye. It was dust, I don't do tears. It was, it was dust!

Seems mad to celebrate after what we've seen this season but I'm 300milles from the Vic and half way through a bottle of champagne.

Looking forward to a no-pressure day out at Carlisle next week.

Hats off to Ronnie

Shed a tear or two when the scores came in. Managed to FaceTime the bairn just before the end of the game ( he was in the town end), atmosphere seemed electric.

The Basra Boot Boys will be celebrating tomorrow.

Just incredible. Me and the lad sang all the way home ( 2 1/2 hours), nearly crashed 3 times :)

I didn't realise how much the pressure had been getting to me. Elated. Huge weight off. Can go to Carlisle and not give a fook what happens, happy days :)

I'm 1500 miles away but I could taste the atmosphere, listening to Mark and Brian on Pools player. I'll have a few San Miguel tonight to celebrate. Well done Ronnie Moore, you deserve the freedom of Hartlepool for what you achieved, I had us dead and buried at Christmas.

Whereabouts are you drinking your San Miguel, Mr 1966?

Bought my flights before the run of four wins and I chose to come this week instead of next week because I wanted to be at our last league match at the Vic. Never crossed my mind that I'd have a day like today. One of my all time favourite Pools matches. Lots of them played well but i thought Fenwick and Harrison were superb - absolute commitment.

Nevermind what he's done for this football club, what he's done for this town is incredible. We're forever in his debt. I'm not shedding a tear, I'm just staying in complete shock for the rest of my life.

I've supported pools for over forty years and today was the most emotional day I can remember, the promotional games were great but today we were fighting for our lives. The tears were flowing at the end. Ronnie Moore I salute you!!!

When the Cheltenham result came through the bairn jumped on me and I just managed to hold the tears back. I should have just let them go really.

Nope, nothing, not a tear in sight

Until today - listening to the post that included BBC Tees coverage - hearing Hughills goal that kept us in the league, the floodgates opened - blubbed like a baby - even the wife got concerned....

Never Say Die.

One of the best things about the closing months of the season is that Ronnie Moore appears to have the nack of unearthing some real characters who'll put everything into the game. Real 100% commitment is all you can ask and that's what we've got for much of 2015 which has kept us up - great effort.

Watching Jeff and the results come in I could not hold back. Had my 4 yr old looking at me saying what's up daddy, if only she knew!

Never cried at football but what a relief!
