for the fans today....“The support we had today we unreal and it has been since I’ve been here – when do you ever lose a home game like that and get clapped off? I think the fans realised what everyone had given.”

Players gave 100% and that's all we can ask.

More great words.

“Where else would you get 3,500 in every week when you’re bottom of the league with some of the rubbish they’ve had to watch and still stick by the side?"

Good stiring stiff on the OS.

I had a look on the York paper and Wilcox was encouraging as many of there fans to go as possible and give if there all singing effectively just to maintain home advantage in terms of support. Wednesday morning they had only sold 2,600 including season tickets so when you think about the number of our fans with tickets in there end, it was about a 50/50 split at the time.

Surely our club will gain some financial benefit from selling 2000 tickets for York CityFC? sctatchinghead , I mean there's staff to pay and their hours to claw back, do we send them a bill?, or do we get a percentage of total sold?

The home team keeps all of the gate money.

A few years ago Sharon Precious said the club do get a small percentage of each ticket sold for away games

We keep 5% to cover staffing costs and such for selling the tickets and a little bit left over. Its sort of a polite gesture for the inconvenience really but every little helps
