Cheltenham have got rid of the rookie manager and replaced him with Gary Johnson. Hopefully too late but a good appointment all the same.

In his last job he had a win ratio of 34 percent. That won't be enough to save them. He can't bring anyone in. As shown with John Hughes and Ronnie Moore in the past, it can take a few games to see an upturn in form.

I can't see Cheltenham getting out of it.

To be fair that was largely down to the fact he was managing Yeovil in the Championship!

Whatever people think of Johnson. it shows Cheltenham care and they are aware of the seriousness of their situation, and are prepared to do something about it, which cant be a good thing for us. Still fancy us to survive like.

Clubs in our position are like supertankers, slow to respond to a change of course, and Cheltenhams is a very late change of course.

Perhaps, it also includes the promotion season to didnt it? Still I can't see it happening myself

We cannot and should not take cognisnance of what other clubs are up to - unless we are playing against them of course. The key to survival is simple - focus on our own efforts, i.e. players, coaches, backroom staff & fans united in a single cause - retention of FL status - at any cost.

Johnson did well with Yeovil by taking them into the championship but this season they've continued in freefall since relegation which led to him parting company with them. I'm not sure if he will do much to be honest at Cheltenham as he struggled for results with a side low on confidence, Yeovil. Perhaps he's appointed with the aim of bringing them back into the league. An interesting appointment.

We just have to keep winning & not worry too much about what's happening elsewhere.
