I stopped wearing my scarf for games a while back, as every time I put it on we got beat. Another habit we have is there are usually 4 of us at the game, we stand in exactly the same spot on a joint between two pieces of terracing, on the same two steps, and always in the same square formation. I'm front left. When in dire need of a goal we've also found that extra strong mints being passed around are the most effective.

I also stopped wearing my scarf but started again for the Morecambe away game, so technically it's down to me for our recent form.

I have been spanking the monkey in a morning prior to the last 3 games, have knocked one out this morning to ensure a continuation, it`s a dirty job but someone has to take one for the team :obscene-moneypiss: :chores-mop:

I adopted the superstition of not going to games seeing as Pools NEVER won whenever I went (the last win I saw was Boxing Day 2004 and I've seen a fair old number of games since then both home and away).
But I think we now have the proof that I wasn't really the cause.

I had a pair of blue and white socks which I had put on over the top of my first socks just before a game started early winter of the Cardiff season, we won and I kept up the habit.

My blue and white lucky socks - how could we not win?

At the end of the play off final I sadly pushed my hands in to my pockets only to find my lucky socks still there.

I can't afford superstitions, the memory of those socks still do my head in. I chucked them away on one of those double decker busses back to the station.

I decided to grow a mustache before the Morecambe game. I can't possibly shave it off now - even if I do end the season looking like an 80s porn star!

A Maltese cross that has to be in my left trouser pocket. And a hip flask filled with whiskey that I keep inside my right sock as I go through the turnstiles....then goes into my right jacket pocket when I stand on the terrace.

Looks like my coat is going to have to wait a little longer for a wash, end of the season maybe?

put my Blue and white scarf on. I usually forget it, but make sure I have it on at the moment even when pools are away I get the scarf out, and Radio DAB on.

My six year old son is my lucky charm

He's been 5 times this season against Cheltenham, Plymouth, Northampton, Mansfield and Cambridge

He asked me this morning if I've ever seen Pools lose

I was at work yesterday but told my dad he had to take the lad to keep the run going and he worked a treat
