They technically shouldn't be selling you tickets in advance knowing you're a poolie, can't see plod taking a good view on that.

There will be loads to poolies in their end including me. I have sat with the Darlington fans and its no problem. Great fun listening to them moaning when things go against them but obviously not such fun when its the opposite. If they score they are too delirious to notice your glum face and when we score sit and enjoy the poolie fans going ballistic. That is a great sight I can assure you.

All we need is for fighting to break out in the home end we get 3 points deducted.

Where's the precedent for that then?

I'm saying it looks like a fair few pools fans have bought tickets in the home end, so hope no trouble occurs that can bring us n front of the FA.

Personally I don't see the problem , better to be there than stop at home listening to Tees.

As for bother I am a teacher aged in their mid 40's who is going with their mate who supports neither team, he is driving i might have a couple of shandys. I think i want avoid jumping up as in the day job in a reasonably "challenging" inner city comp teaching over 300 of the little cherubs that pays for my football and lifestyle and vehicle etc, I put an act on of being understanding, nice, calm, tolerant etc when sometimes rather than saying " please be quiet, can yiu focus ? and all of that you just want to say "For Fucks sake sop acting like a fucking 2 year old and shut the fuck up ".... Oh and York don't ask out my address in Durham and I've been to a few friendlis when down in Yorkshire -as long as I coughed up the £42 I dont suppose they'd bother- I will adopt dignified applause for both sides, a flap cap, Barbour and cucumber and salmon saries cut in triagles with no corners and some Dom Pom in champage fltes and posh accent like that sketch John Thompson used to do on the past show

There were leeds fans fighting blackpool fans in the blackpool home end not too long ago - how many points are leeds losing?

A small section of Blackpool fans were completely out of order that day. That said, the sad truth is you take that risk if you mingle at football games... Crying shame considering the great atmosphere at the rugger when mingling without it having to resort to violence.

If fans are detetmined to get in the home end they will, but surely the onus is on the home club to take reasonable precautions in the issuing of tickets to fans and a database is useful in that respect. That said, nothing is infallible.

I can't see the problem so long as you are sensible. The one time I did it at Darlo was on the side under their old wooden main stand. We won 2 nil, a cup replay in midweek and when we scored, it seemed like there was dozens of poolies in there but still chew

Poolies all over the Stadium of Shite when we played them in the cup too but there was no chew

I was talking to 4 Sunderland fans in the centenary lounge before the match who said they often came to Pools if Sunderland were away and could not go, as I was leaving they spotted me and gave me the thumbs up, I should of course have shouted get back to the Stadium Of Shite

Stood with Sunderland Fans when we beat Palace .. Their game had been called off for a frozen pitch.. Good craic.
All this segregation for a few pissed up teenagers narks me.. Its pathetic that you can sit with away fans enjoying a pint with away fans at a rugby match (at the same stadium if they ground share) but you are all treated like hooligans as soon as the ball changes shape.
