The Never Been To Wembley Elite

With Walsall playing in the Something Trophy/Cup yesterday, the number of League Clubs to never have played at Wembley is now down to 3.

Us, Crawley and Accrington.

Yes us Saddlers graced the hallow turf of Walsall yesterday - alas we played awfully and before the game I witnessed two groups of our own fans fighting - pathetic. I'm being a tad unfair on my own support as the numbers were good and general atmosphere was friendly / fun.

When you get to Wembley hopefully you'll grace it with more respect!!

Well done on the recent turn around by the by - I'm rooting for you guys!!!

Only Barcelona v Real Madrid had a higher attendance in Europe for games played over the weekend just gone than Walsall v Bristol Rovers JPT final.

First Walsall were gracing the hallow turf of Walsall and then Bristol Rovers were in the JPT final. The world has gone mad!

Oops. I mean it is hallow turf, but not nationally... I'm not as deluded as that! I wish we had played Bristol Rovers, it hurts to be so outclassed on t.v. in front of so many.

I'd say so No.6 bus, FA only used Cardiff as Wembley was getting rebuilt so had it not, we'd have played at Wembley.

We will get there next year league two play off final SUSSEX.
You just look forward to you Whitby Rock next season thats if you dont bottle it again.

We're more of an auto-promotion side than a play-off final side, so it'll have to be the FA Cup or maybe the Champions League next time it's played there.

I'd personally take still existing over a couple of nice days out in a 100 years.

But we have been existing for 100 years, add to not getting to Wembley the fact we have never won a title either, think only Crewe with us on that one, out of the established teams
