It depends if admission prices are reduced again. Surely it's a no brainer for the rest of the home games now?

Plus surely it will convince them to knock the ridiculous £25 admission on the head full stop?

Its the £25 matchday tickets that makes more fans buy season tickets.
I would say this seasons gate receipts with season ticket sales and ticket offers are the highest in the clubs history.
So I cant see the matchday prices coming down for next season, they might put a half season ticket offer on in December presuming we stay up that is.

What more than when we getting 5,000+ at full price and people were paying £400 for season tickets??

We've got less season tickets this year than the previous two and for the majority of the season the only people paying in have been away fans and a handful in the home end. Yesterday proves that at the right price people will pay on the gate.

Hmm average gate in 2007/2008 was 4500

Pretty sure the gates in the 1990/91 promotion season would have been bigger also.

I think you're confusing KeithNobbsBigToe with KevinPoolesGloves

An easy mistake to make!

£25.00 at the gate is obscene unrealistic and a rip off. Of course it makes sense to reduce the price crank up the attendance and up the volume. No brainer on all fronts.

Cheers Mr B - I thought so too.

Found an official attendance figure for the 1990/91 promotion game against Northampton claiming that just under 7000 were at the game - I was at the match and would argue there was a fair few more than 7000 there that day - although being a teenager, my memories may have jaded over time and I could be wrong.

worked me sums out wrong but you catch me drift about high matchday prices sells more season tickets.
Should be full house v exeter if the ticket offer remains.
