I've been thinking for a few games now that it's time Tish scored for us. Tomorrow is as good a time as any to do it.
Also it would be good to see Walker notch too.
I fear the usual ex player comes back to haunt us scenario so a nervy 2-1 win with Tish equalising Binghams strike before an 85th minute pile driver from Walker wins us the game

Bingham is a doubt to play through injury. Fingers crossed. He has not started a game since he went back and even if he gets passed fit, I doubt he would start anyway.

I think its about time a centre back scored for us.

So will go 1-0 Harrison.

To celebrate with an imaginery spary.

Prolific goalscorers will smash in 3 tomorrow and a rock solid defence will keep the sheet clean, 3627 in attendance.

4-0 Pools. 4065 in The Vic. Bird 2, Franks, Harrison.

Singing ALL AROUND THE GROUND.

Kenny Baby to be driven around the perimeter of the pitch in an open-top car to wild applause and screams pinched from the Beatles at Hollywood Bowl played over the tannoy.

I'm not sure of a score but surely its about time Dan Jones got a goal, he's be close on too many occasions. Get one and he might get a few in the coming weeks.

You left out him descending from the heavens on a shaft of celestial sunlight and rose petals thrown in the path of the Kenmobile as angels sound a sernade on golden trumpets from on high ...... or possibly not.

I'm in positive Pools spirit at the moment...exactly how I was before Stevenage at home & Dag and Red away. Whilst I had little hope for Morecambe, Oxford and Northampton. So in the world where these things matter I should be negative and predict a defeat but...the world doesn't work like that so we're gonna smash them 1-0!

Own goal and a crowd of 3456

1-0 Pools.

A bizzare goal, eventually credited to Austin after his rasping shot is beaten out by the Mansfield keeper into the path of the onrunning referee, who is unable to get out of the way and sees the ball ricochet off his knee and trickle past the grounded goalie.

The ref then tries to even things up by awarding Mansfield three very dubious penalties, all of which are saved brilliantly by Flinders.

Think it will be really tough tomorrow. They have some players who can do some damage - Junior Brown, Billy Kee, Bingham if fit and big Matt Rhead up front. Will be different from playing away as we'll be expected to take the game to them. Think we'll scrape home 2.1. Dan Jones and Connor Smith.

What could Matt Rhead do damage to apart from a meal deal from the pizza shop? He's one of the worst players I've ever seen at professional level. He scored a goal against us last season that hit his bonce without him hardly knowing then barely crossed the line but celebrated like he'd scored like John Barnes in the Maracana.

Mansfield are dogshit, and very, very beatable fuck this tough game shite let's be as up for this as the players should be 'Kirsty'

When we're shit you're telling us to get behind the team...then when we finally show some fight you're talking up the opposition. sctatchinghead

Considering we only had two attempts on goal at the last home game, I'm just making the point that I don't think it will be a walkover and that we'll have to fight like hell to get the win. I did predict a 2.1 victory by the way. 3 points tomorrow will be fantastic and I sincerely hope that this is the case to help maintain our fotball league status. There should be a good crowd and let's all get behind the lads.

As ive said before this is the worst fourth division ever so the only team we have to worry about is ourselves. If the team play with the passion and commitment for the rest of the season as the last two games then we have every chance of staying up.
As goes without saying us brilliant fans will back the team all the way both home and away.Going for a 2 1 win hanging on last ten mins

Crowd 3897

According to Mrs Hanger (because she had a dream!), we are going to beat Mansfield 5-1 today.

Had to back it up with a bet!

11 - 0 to Pools

6 from Harewood

5 from Flinders - 4 from his own penalty area

Mansfield have 3 men sent off, as well as the manager

The game is so good - Sky sports and the BBC cancel all their programming tomorrow to run the game on a loop

Dreadful match. High ball after high ball. Featherstone pick of our players at half time IMO.
