....put the light on in the front room for a couple of minutes, then change the 100 watt bulb for a 40 watt bulb, turn on and do the same. Much safer and you can look at it without damaging your eyesight. :roll:

Or if electrically biased a dimmer switch and gradually turn it off... Fookin raining anyway... :(

To be fair any eclipse less than about 95% full is a waste of time. Just a curiosity with a lump missing out the sun.

Sick of them whining twats on the liner at the Faroes going on about the cost of their jaunt and how they might not see the eclipse (despite paying out a lot of money yet again) and it's not right etc etc etc. Made me chuckle though, thinking they could order the weather about.
