I was hoping for a comprehensive list or a site that does it. Wasnt meant to be a quiz.

There is obviously Beardsley, Ray Kennedy, Godwin Antwi.

We signed Pears from Liverpool im sure but no idea if he played for them like.

I doubt such a site exists to be honest.

Harry Race is a proper football name, straight out of a comic. I imagine he was actually a runner, who helped out his local team who were suffering from a shortage of players. Got them into the play-offs of the Evo Stick league or something.
